Shipment conformation & Order tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

Damages

We cannot guarantee that local carriers handle these beautiful items with the same care as we do. Unfortunately, we cannot take responsibility for any loss or damage caused by local postal carriers. In many cases, these carriers can determine what went wrong by reviewing your tracking information. If you would like to insure your package, please contact us before placing your order.

Should you receive an item with damage that does not appear to be the result of shipping for example, a manufacturing defect, please contact us at info@akya.co so we can provide you with a solution.

Refund Policy

How we handle a return/exchange

At Akya, we want you to feel beautiful in our creations. If you don't, you may return them to us or exchange them for something else in our store. We put a lot of love into our work, and we want everyone who makes a purchase from our shop to feel that love when they wear our creations.

That’s why we’re happy to offer you the freedom to return your items within 30 days of purchase. And if you’re a day or two over, don’t worry. Our post owl isn’t always just on time either!

We don't want to make returning a hassle. There are some simple steps for you to follow in order to return:

  • Create a Return Request:
    Log into your account at Akya.co using the email address you provided when placing your order. You will then receive a code by email (please check your spam folder if you don’t see it). This code allows you to access your account and see your past orders.

  • Submit Your Return:
    Click the button to request a return. Select a reason for your return and provide additional details in the notes section about why you’d like to return the item. If you would prefer to exchange your item, please let us know here as well.

  • Return Label:
    Once your return is reviewed and accepted, we will provide you with a return label. You can either have it scanned at the post office (no printer needed) or print it out yourself if you prefer.

Shipping Fee:

We offer a friendly shipping policy we cover some or all of your shipping costs when sending your items to you. However, for returns, we kindly ask you to cover the shipping fees yourself. The amount for the return shipping label will be deducted from your refund so you don’t have to pay upfront. The fee deductions per country are as follows:

  • NL: €4.00
  • BE: €12.00
  • DE: €6.50
  • LU: €11.50
  • FR: €15.00
  • UK: £9.00
  • Other EU countries: Fees vary based on your country’s shipping rate, you will always be informed beforehand.

For Returns from Outside the EU.

  • We are unable to provide a direct shipping label for returns from outside Europe. Please ship the package using your chosen carrier.
  • Please note: If you return your item(s) from outside the EU, we do not cover shipping costs or import fees required to return the items to us. If a fee is applied, the package will automatically be sent back to you. To prevent this, please make sure to mark “RETURNED GOODS” on the label when sending your return.

Once we receive your item(s) and they are processed in our office, we will refund the amount you paid for the item(s). Please allow up to 3 working days for processing, and your refund should appear in your account within 3 working days thereafter.
